About Me
I am a communications strategist, event architect, and operations lead who loves turning big ideas into high-impact realities. I currently serve as Assistant to the Chair in the LSU Division of Computer Science and Engineering, where I lead initiatives that connect people, strengthen partnerships, and tell our story in meaningful and strategic ways.
I will graduate in May with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies, with minors in Communication Studies, Leadership Development, and Sociology. My academic background shapes how I approach my work. Communication studies informs how I craft messaging and build engagement. Leadership development guides how I organize teams and move projects forward. Sociology strengthens my understanding of systems, culture, and the human dynamics behind every initiative. Together, these disciplines influence how I think, plan, and lead.
I planned, designed, and launched the inaugural Silicon Bayou Gala and Louisiana Technology Awards, a signature event celebrating technology innovation across Louisiana. This experience brought together industry leaders, alumni, students, and community partners to elevate the department’s visibility and build long-term engagement and support. I continue to oversee the creative direction, logistics, sponsorship strategy, and overall program development as the event grows each year.
Beyond event leadership, I manage digital and internal communications, collaborate with faculty and industry partners, support student engagement initiatives, and contribute to fundraising, alumni relations, and advisory board coordination. From developing sponsor proposals to maintaining our web presence, I focus on ensuring our messaging is strategic, consistent, and impactful.
I care deeply about creating environments that are inclusive, creative, and purpose-driven, where people feel supported and inspired to contribute their best work. I am always open to conversations about projects that combine creativity, strategy, and meaningful impact. Let’s build something bold together.
